Wedding Photography Birmingham with Callum and Lucy, Married! 21/5/11
Wedding Photography Birmingham!
Wedding Photography in Birmingham is always good fun!
On Saturday 21st of May 2011 we arrived at Lucy’s mom and dad’s house in glorious sunshine to do her wedding photography! As we got there Lucy’s dad was offering the postman a glass of champers…this is how happy and excited he was, wanting everyone to have a piece of his daughters happiness!
We arrived to Lucy attempting to help get everybody else ready but herself! She was fake tanning bridesmaids, helping to do their makeup, basically doing everything but get herself ready! We could tell she was enjoying every minute of it and she was so relaxed!
Lucy had also managed to keep her wedding dress a very closely guarded secret, until we asked to photograph it.
No one knew what style dress she had decided on and we were under strict orders to keep it that way until the big moment that she put it on. Obviously we were very discreet!
The cars arrived at the house at 1.30pm, so we left Lucy to her final preparations and made our way to the church, where Callum and his entourage were having a swift half in the Red Lion pub! There was then a bit of panicked running from the pub to the church before Bride arrived…but everyone was in place when it mattered and the wedding photography was on!
The actual service was very informal, there was a little play area for the kids and the vicar was really friendly and warm, he told us before the service we pretty much had the run of the church! It was so refreshing to have no restraints but we didn’t push it!
Once the service was finished we had the obligatory group shots and confetti and then made our way to the reception.
I would say that this was the point when the bride and groom could relax, having finished the ‘important’ part but they took the whole day in their stride and really relished every moment so I can’t!
Just to reiterate how much they enjoyed their day, by the end of the night they were up on stage with the live band singing and playing tambourine!
Congratulations Callum, Lucy and Savannah, we have absolutely no doubt that you will have a wonderful married life!
