Wedding Photography Birmingham!
Gemma and Carl’s wedding.
It was my first wedding of 2014 and I was really looking forward to it! Its nice to have a break over Christmas but by February I’m always getting itchy to start again as I’m usually up to date with everything by this point!
I had been keeping a close eye on the weather, as usual. Initially it was saying that it might be sunshine and showers but be cold, which would have been fine with me! I did have to scrape a frost from my car windscreens when I left out, but the sun was beaming and the sky was clear so I was feeling positive!
I met up with Gemma and her bridesmaids and family, while Debi, my second shooter for the day, met up with Carl and his groomsmen and family to get some preparation pictures before everything kicked off!
It was a Catholic church service and after the formalities, we all stepped out into real WARM sunshine! It was such a beautiful day and not what we were expecting at all!
We then made our way to Hogarths, still bathed in sunshine!
The whole day was so relaxed, everyone had a fantastic time and I spent a LOT of time by the sweet table, nibbling on shrimps and flumps, aswell as getting some candid’s and Portraits of people…I am so good at multi-tasking! 😉
Thanks so much for having me and Debi at your wedding, I hope you love your photos from the day (there are TONS!)
